Based in Villaverde de Medina (Valladolid), Castelo de Medina is one of the most innovative wineries in the D.O. Rueda, located in the heart of the appellation, with 180 hectares of its own vineyards planted 30 years ago.
The vineyard is divided among the following varieties: Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viura, Chardonnay, Garnacha, Syrah and Tempranillo, of which 100 hectares of Verdejo predominate.
The winery is proud of its origins, its history and the privileged environment in which it is located, which is why it aspires to be faithful to this legacy through wines that express the character of the Rueda terroir and the grape varieties it uses.
