This week has come to market a new edition of the Penin Guide, whose scores are reference to national and international market. 2014 edition has qualified five wines elaborated by Bodegas Castelo de Medina over 90 points.
The best Castelo de Medina wines rated by the Penin Guide 2014 tasters have reached 91 points. This four wines have been Castelo de Medina Verdejo 2012, Castelo de Medina Verdejo Vendimia Seleccionada 2012, Castelo de Medina Sauvignon Blanc 2012 and Real Castelo 2012.
In addition, another wine elaborated by Bodegas Castelo de Medina has reached the wall of 90 points in the publication, Castelo Noble 2011, white wine fermented in barrel.
Five wines with an "excellent" value for money
The Bodegas Castelo de Medina wines rated "excellent" in terms of value for money were Castelo de Medina Verdejo 2012, Real Castelo 2012, Castelo de la Dehesa 2012, Castelo de Medina Verdejo Vendimia Seleccionada 2012 and Castelo de Medina Sauvignon Blanc 2012.
Penin Guide, which was first published in 1994, is the reference publication in the Spanish wine sector and in the 2014 edition includes more than 10,200 wine tastings.
